How to Make a Domestic Money Transfer?

You can make your domestic money transfers with BPN from BPN representatives or by calling our transaction center, with our Money Transfer by Phone service. Money Transfer by Phone service is only valid for transactions less than 2.000 TL.

1)Money Transfer from BPN Representatives

IN TRANSACTIONS OVER 5.000 TL

You can perform your transactions over 5000 TL by going to the nearest BPN representative.

Sending Money

  • Find the nearest BPN representative on the page of Our Representatives to make your domestic money
  • Share the information that you want to send money with the officer at the BPN point.
  • Fill in the money transfer slip in accordance with the transaction you will perform and submit to the officer.
  • Officer will share the money transfer fee with you. Give the total amount (the amount you want to send and the money transfer fee) and your valid ID to the officer.
  • Officer will enter the necessary information into the system and share a receipt for your transaction with you. Get the receipt and sign it. One copy will remain with you; give the other copy to the officer.
  • Your transaction is completed. Do not forget to share information about the transaction with the person you send money.

Receiving Money

  • Find the nearest BPN representative on the page of Our Representatives to make your domestic money transfer.
  • Share the information that you want to send money with the officer at the BPN point.
  • Fill in the money receipt in accordance with the transaction you will make and submit to the officer with the MTCN code shared by the person who sent the money.
  • Officer will enter the necessary information into the system and share a receipt for your transaction with you. Get the receipt and sign it. One copy will remain with you; give the other copy to the officer.
  • The officer will hand over the money and your transaction will be completed.

IN TRANSACTIONS OF 5.000 TL AND BELOW

You can perform your transactions of 5.000 TL and below by going to the nearest BPN representative. You need to have your TR ID Number and Mobile number to send money in transactions that are less than 5.000 TL at BPN points, and your TR ID Number, MTCN and mobile number to receive money.

Domestic Money Transfer is now much faster for 5.000 TL and below transactions!

Only with your TR ID number and Mobile Number information, you can go to the nearest BPN point and perform your money transfer transactions of 5.000 TL or below.

Sending Money (Valid For Transactions of 5.000 TL and Below)

  • Find the nearest BPN representative on the page of Our Representatives to make your domestic money transfer.
  • By stating that you will make a money transfer transaction to the officer at the BPN point, share the information of the amount you want to send, your TR ID Number, mobile phone number, TR ID number and mobile phone number of the person you want to send money.
  • Officer will forward an SMS to your mobile phone with information about the transaction money and transaction fee.
  • If you approve the execution of your transaction with the information in the SMS, share the verification code with the officer and submit the total amount including the money to be sent and the transaction fee.
  • The officer will complete the transaction you approved and your receipt will be forwarded to your mobile phone via SMS.
  • Your money transfer process is completed, and an SMS will be sent to the recipient regarding the money you sent.

Receiving Money (For Transactions of 5.000 TL and Below)

  • Find the nearest BPN representative on the page of Our Representatives to make your domestic money transfer.
  • Share with the officer at the BPN point that you want to receive money, along with the amount sent on your behalf, the transaction's MTCN, TR ID number and mobile phone number.
  • Officer will forward an SMS containing information about the transaction to your mobile phone.
  • If you approve the execution of your transaction with the information in the SMS, share the verification code with the officer.
  • Officer will complete the transaction you approved and your receipt will be forwarded to your mobile phone via SMS.
  • Complete your transaction by receiving the money sent in your name.

2)Money Transfer by Phone

In order to be able to make Money Transfer by Phone, you must be registered at BPN representatives. You can create your registration quickly by going to the nearest BPN representative only once.

Our customers who previously transferred money from BPN do not need to register at BPN representatives. You can quickly transfer money by phone by calling our transaction center directly.

Money transfer by phone can only be used for money sending transactions; you can visit the nearest BPN point for your money receiving transactions.

Money Transfer service by phone is only valid for transactions less than TL 2.000. For your transactions of 2.000 TL and above, you need to go to the nearest BPN representative. Click to view the nearest BPN representative.

Sending Money

  • Call our transaction center on 0850 312 99 90 and mention that you want to transfer money by phone.
  • Our transaction center officer will verify your customer information, valid mobile phone number you can be accessed and valid e-mail address you can be accessed within the scope of your money transfer transaction by phone.
  • Our transaction center officer will learn from you the details of the transaction (receiver name, amount, etc.) you want to perform. He/she will inform you about the transaction.
  • You will receive an e-mail containing your transaction information (sender name, recipient name, total amount (sent amount and money transfer fee) terms and conditions, BPN bank account information from which you can make the payment, etc.) that you have shared with our transaction center officer.
  • If you approve the transaction sent to your verified e-mail address, indicate your consent to our transaction center officer.
  • Send the total amount (the sum of the amount sent and the money transfer fee) to one of the specified BPN bank accounts indicated via e-mail from a bank account on your behalf, specifying the transaction number shared with you in the e-mail content of the transaction description.
  • By performing the necessary checks, your transaction will be completed successfully if there is no problem, and you will receive your receipt with an information e-mail to your e-mail address that your transaction has been completed.
  • You can share your transaction information with the person you have sent money.

When Can I Make a Domestic Money Transfer?

On weekends, public holidays, before or after EFT hours… You can send money to your friends and relatives or receive money sent to you by them by going to the BPN point located at the closest location, within the service hours, at the time and day you need.

You can make your money transfer transactions by phone between 08.00 - 21.00 on weekdays and 09.00 - 21.00 on weekends, which are the working hours of our transaction center.


Is There a Limit for Domestic Money Transfer?

You can perform your domestic money transfer transactions of 5.000 TL and below from BPN points.

In domestic foreign currency transfers where we can only serve our foreign customers, you can make domestic foreign currency transfers up to 2.500 Euro/USD from BPN points.

You can perform money transfer transactions by phone for amounts up to 1.999 TL, which is the domestic and international transaction limit.

For all transactions of 5.000 TL or below, you can go to the nearest BPN representative to send money with your TR ID number and Mobile Number, and to receive money, with MTCN, TR ID number and Mobile number information and you can quickly perform transactions without filling any documents.

What do I need to make a domestic money transfer?

  • You must be over the age of 18.
  • You should present a valid identity card.
  • You should perform the transaction in one of the currencies we serve, Turkish Lira, US Dollar and Euro.
    Domestic money transfers in US Dollars and Euros can only be made by foreign nationals.
  • If you are a recipient of the money transfer, in order to receive the money, you should know your Money Transfer Control Number, which is specified as the MTCN.
