Domestic Money Transfer - Frequently Asked Questions

With BPN, you can send money to Turkey's 81 provinces within minutes or receive money in your name. You can view your nearest BPN representative point by visiting our representatives page.

In order to perform a domestic money transfer; you must be over the age of 18, present a valid identity document, and operate in the valid currencies that can be served.

You should also know the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) if you are the receiving party in money transfer transactions.

In domestic money transfers you will make through BPN, the upper limit for sending Turkish Lira at once is 20.000 TL.
Online money transfer transactions are not currently available. You can perform your domestic money transfer transactions from our more than 2.000 BPN representative points in Turkey.
You can perform your domestic money transfer, bill payment and international money transfer transactions in cooperation with Western Union from BPN points without the need for any bank account or card.

If you are a Turkish citizen, you can perform your transactions with your passport, identity card and official driver's license.

If you are a citizen of a country other than T.R., you can perform your transactions with a passport or residence permit.

You can perform your domestic money transfer transactions from our more than 2.000 BPN representative points in Turkey, every day of the week, even at late hours, even on public holidays, depending on the business hours of the representative. You can find out the business hours of the nearest representative from “our representatives” page, and you can get information about the business hours of all our points.
By visiting the nearest BPN representative point with your identity card and MTCN code, you can easily complete your transaction in just a few minutes.
